Happy Birthday, Claire Bear

Claire is going to be 7 years old tomorrow and we want to wish her a very Happy Birthday! Claire is a princess, tomboy, tough, sweet, smart wonderful girl. She is so creative and uses her imagination very well. She loves to create outfits and sometimes it is tomboy mixed with pricess at the same time. We love our Claire and we're so thankful that she has so much fun in life!

We love going to visit Claire and her family in Iowa. One time I was able to take Claire to her dance lessons and she posed for me.
Another time, I was able to go with her to 'Safety Kids' where she learned all about keeping her and her family safe.
I was lucky enough to be in Iowa when the fireflies were out and Claire caught them so easily!
One of my favorite things was to be able to go visit Claire at school and have lunch with her. It was fun to be able to see her classroom, her desk and the playground and to meet some of her friends.
We love you, Claire and hope you have a very special day!

Happy Birthday, Tyler!

Happy Birthday to our 2nd son, Tyler, who turns 33 today! It's impossible to think about how fast the years have flown by. I couldn't resist posting this picture of him!

We're so thankful to have Tyler as our son and we're very proud of him. He's a great husband and is the father of 3 beautiful girls. Yes, he was a hand full when he was growing up and yes, he was a big tease (and still is), but he is a thoughtful and loving son. Even when he was a little boy, he could be giving me a hard time one minute and then giving me hugs the next.

Tyler likes to buy and sell things and always makes a profit on what he sells. I think if he played the lottery, he would win because he is that lucky! Tyler, we love you and we are so thankful to have you in our family. We hope you have a wonderful birthday today!

Happy Birthday, Lexi Lou

Lexi turned 7 on Nov 4. I remember sleeping at Tyler and Tiffany's house with Kylie the night Lexi was born. I was so excited when we finally got the call that she had been born. I took Kylie to the hospital the next day to meet her sister and take her a little stuffed animal gift.
I love this picture of Lexi. She has always been a very sweet, thoughtful and tenderhearted girl. She is full of hugs and kisses and we love getting them from her. She is very smart and is a great reader. She loves to sing and dance and she loves to pose for pictures! She's a great swimmer too.
Lexi, we love you very much and hope you have a very Happy Birthday! We;re so thankful you're in our family.

Halloween Fun!

Here are the cute grandkids in their Halloween costumes.
Sam was a train - imagine that! He was actually a ghost train, but the ghost part of his train didn't stay on him for long.
Brodi was a princess - actually she was Rapunzel. It took about 10 shots of her to finally get this one! She did not want her picture taken.
Hannah was a roller derby girl. It was the perfect costume since she had her helmet this year. You can't see it, but Shannon put coins on her little socks that looked like wheels.
Here we are with BJ & Shannon's kids when they came trick or treating at our house.
Kylie was a referee.......
Lexi was a candy corn witch.......
 Sadie was a cat........
and Tiffany was Tyler's trophy! Very cute.
We went to BJ & Shannon and Ty & Tiff's ward trunk or treat party. It was fun to be with the kids. Kylie is getting so tall - she is to my shoulders now.
Holly made this cute race car driver costume for Claire and she even has a trophy!
Dr. Ethan Boyer is removing the cast from his patient (his dad)
And here are all of the Boyers with their costumes. Dr. Ethan, surgical nurse Holly, patient Jeff, and race car driver Claire

I don't have a picture of Madie yet, but I'm sure I will get one soon.

As for Bryan and I, we had a quiet Halloween evening at home.
